A genuine shout out that occurs organically can be good. When you shout out a Youtuber you really believe in, it shows. Subscribers that you've made a connection with, who genuinely are interested in your content and in you as a creator might feel motivated to check those people out. However...

As far as subs and views, I don't have a specific timeline, but hitting around 200 by the end of 2016 would be nice. Mainly though, I'm hoping to help the rest of my YouTube crew get back into their channels so we can get back to growing together. Maybe even add to our merry band of misfits.

So far my best strategy has been to record as many videos as possible on one or two days out of the week. A few hours of editing, making thumbnails, etc. spread through the week, and I can usually stay ahead. Now, mind you I'm on a Sun/Tue/Thu/Sat publishing schedule. Not sure if this would...
