Start a Patreon?

I want to start a Patreon account for people can support me making more papercraft videos and people ask to if they can support. But I'm just the type that don't like asking money (MOSTLY MONEY) But at the same time I keep running out of supplies every week from paper and Ink. And I have to wait 1-2 weeks before I get paid to buy more Ink and Paper.

What do you think? Should I start a Patreon?

I don't think it would hurt to try. Also, I say let people pay for what they want. If they want to support you, then let them.

Having a patreon isn't asking for money, it just offers a way for people to support you.

It is only asking for money if you promote it on every video etc. Just stick a link in the description letting people know it is there and it is fine

Definitely see no harm in it. If people love your stuff then why not see if they can fund it!

Yeah may as well give it a go Just don't expect too much, people usually don't like giving away money. I've seen a few Youtubes with 100k + subs who have set up patreons and get very little support. You will never know if you don't try it though.

If people like your papercraft videos they may donate...

It may even be worth setting up a P.O. Box or something so people can send you papercraft projects if they want to... though... that might cost money... :/
