Sub for sub kills channels. Over saturates your statistics, all your subs are inactive, you cant find out if your subs are organic or not, etc. Definitely stay away from sub4sub. Congrats on the 20k!

yep. i've never done sub 4 sub and it's worked out well for me. playlist 4 playlist is also a good way to collaborate with youtubers from other genres
congrats, i couldnt imgaine 20K subs been posting for almost years and just have 225 subs and almost 56,000 channels views.
i started my first channel in 2007. i don't think it ever hit 100 subs. you'll grow. it just takes time
Great to hear your channel is gaining such good growth and as for the tips i agree as these are the most basic things needed for a channel to gain growth 
thanks! I tried to give tips that everyone could follow. As a youtube musician, it's hard to give tips that gamers or vloggers can follow as well. the most simple thing any youtuber can do is to be as consistent as possible, and show off their personality via their content
