are time lapses the thing of the future?

so I uploaded my newest vlog yesterday and its going well, then I got a comment suggesting I do more time lapses, now I am not against doing them but I feel that everyone is doing them these days.

Im no casey neistat, nor do I want to look like a casey neistat wanna be by copying him and the way he does vloging. I am just curious what you all think about time lapses.

I really would not call time lapse a thing of "future" as it has been popular forever now... Id say do your videos however you want.

thank you for taking the time to reply, I am not against them and I have done them in other videos it just took me by surprise I guess that it was suggested that I should have had one. I guess the question should have been is that all anyone wants to see anymore lol,
