Hey guys. I have been freedom for the past year and it has been a lot of fun. I just have some problems that I need help with. I have an alienware x51 gaming computer and it has been great; except in recent times. It keeps restarting, freezing and sometimes when it restarts the processor starts screaming like it's failing. I don't know what to do and it seems like I need to get a new pc. I don't have a lot of money and I want to build a cheap gaming computer to let me not only play games but also edit my videos with adobe. If there is anything you guys can do to help that would be greatly appreciated.

My PC is semi-beast and I only bought it for 600 euros. I can give you my specs plus a little bit of changes on it.

Case: Raijintek Arcadia. This is one of the best cases I ever found in my life. It's quiet and beutiful looking case. You can have a graphics card as long as 400cm and a CPU cooler at 160cm.

Motherboard: Gigabyte H81M-DS2. This is a cheap motherboard that has 2 SATA3 connections, 2 SATA2, 1 PCI-E, 2 RAM places and it can even support i7 processors.

CPU: Intel Core i3 4170 3,7Ghz. It's a good CPU for me, it can render and edit videos fast enough but the thing is that it's an i3.

PSU: CoolerMaster RS600-ACABM2-WI 600w. The current PC might need less watts but for an upgrade it's ok.

RAM: Kingston KVR1333D3N9H/8G 8GB 1333Mhz. You can buy this one and in the future you can buy the same one so you can have 16GB of RAM

HDD: Western Digital 1TB.

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX960 Windforce 4GB OC. Beast card.

That's my PC, I can record 1080p gaming videos with 60 fps minimum.

Here in Greece, the minimum you can pay for this PC is 608 euros. I would suggest you if you want to go for 700 euros/dollars, change the i3 with an i5

You fell for the brand name, Alienware computers look cool and everyone is aware of them but they don't last long. I recommend going with something from PC Specialist or building your own
Some of my specs:

Intel i5 Quad Core processor
GeForce GTX 970, 4GB DDR4
16 GB DDR4 RAM
Windows 8 (But I upgraded to 10)
1TB Storage

I bought this for £1000, or roughly $1600 so it can take some time to save up that amount but it pays off well

Mine was 630$ 600$ with rebates bought exactly a year ago
Records Minecraft 60FPS all the time at 900p
CPU: Amd FX 6300
Ram: 8 GB G.Skillz 2133MHZ
GPU: Radeon R7 250 2GB GDDR5
Space: I'm using 2 reused HDD = 200GB and 1 new intel 530 128GB SSD

Any game out in the market ATM is playable at 1080P most of the time

Do as I am doing and build over a period of time.
I started saving money and bought by high end components over time instead of compromising for any less.
