good editing softwares

dose any one now good software to edit videos with I am just using Movie maker because its free and easy to use but I would like to know a good editing software that is cheap so I don't have too spend a lot of money I don't have much money but I am saving to get a good computer and to get a good set-up thx for reading this

I've used Sony Vegas for editing videos in the past. It's great. But as mentioned above, it's paid.
I currently use Lightworks. The free version is amazing, considering it's free. Lots of features, and once you get used to the workflow, you can do a lot with it. Also, if you have any problems, you can post on their forum and get help. I would recommend Lightworks to anyone who cannot afford to buy video editing software.

I personaly use Premier Pro but Sony Vegas is good to although I believe a little more expensive than Premier
