YouTube How do i allow a comment?

hello. recently a user has commented on one of my videos on Youtube.
also, this comment has been marked as spam, and it is not.
since i want it to be approved, i need to approve this comment.
the problem is, the fields are grey, and it is not possible to change the status.

how will i change this and where?

What do you mean by the fields being gray? Could you show us a screenshot of it?

The same issue has happened to me. I used to be able to approve any spam comments but now I can't. It will only let me delete the comment or report the user.

yes, exactly like that is it for me in the picture above.
however, i have not changed my setting to allow all comments.

That's odd. The guy who did it for me wasn't even a repeat offender. It was my first time seeing him.

Maybe YouTube filtered some messages from him before you could see it or on other channels.

I've had this happen to me also, I fixed it by disabling all my youtube extensions then when I went to my YouTube comments and the box showed up again to be able to allow the comment... Maybe that will help?

I make use of the Youtube Studio app wich lets me approve such comments so maybe that is a option?

Seems like the ability to approve them came back. Must have been a known issue with a lot of people.

It's currently a glitch on YouTube's side. It will fix itself over time.
