You can have a schedule and that will greatly increase the views you might get. Also, you should try tags and no generic titles. Tags are probably one of the best things to do to get your videos on the top of the search list.
Most importantly, do what you want to do and be patient and stick with your plan.
By sticking with this, I was able to get almost 400 subs .

I upload on a consistent schedule. I focus on one topic for my channel (fps gaming). And I optimize my videos to rank up in the search. People who say that all you need is great quality content and dedication simply don't know how youtube's algorithm works... or that there even is one.
