It was the day of Thursday, February 18th, around 4pm when I posted on a classifieds site.
"ISO - Looking for a tripod". I wrote, coupled with a visual representation of what I'm looking for and some text depicting the size range of the tripod that I'm looking for.
After about a day of posting the ad, I got a comment that linked me to someone who was selling four of them. We talked about pricing and delivery and worked out that it is to be delivered for tomorrow [Monday, 22].
I mentioned what the tripod was meant to be used for. Short films and video shoots. This is where the good thing happens.
He goes on about needing a videographer for his business, he's the kind of guy that helps local bands get exposure and gigs, as well as for weddings and similar things.
In short, I'm going to be talking with him about this job and how well it'll pay.
It may just launch me into the profession video industry faster than the most of the people on YouTube would.
