As far as im avare, if you actually do editing for your thumbnails, then you should not have any legal issues with using "copyrighted" immages, since thumbnails fall into the fair use category an are not used to gain profit (unless you plan on selling your thumbnails to someone?)

Again, this is the way I understand it, im not a lawyer so take this with a grain of salt and do your own digging :)

People put anything they want on there...
Heck Freedom itself put pictures of famous people on they're thumbnails... rofl

Or did freedom actually get permission from Jay-Z etc? Lol

No, but he is asking for copyright free images. Free images XD

So that's why I stated that.

Also some people such as @rumandapples have had issues with images.
