My first thumbnail

So guys, I decided to try making a thumbnail today.. I know its pretty bad.. Anyways, can you guys tell me how it looks? Now remember this is my FIRST thumbnail so please don't expect it to be good..

ok I can give a few suggestions but in the end it's up to you if you want to follow them.
1 the green fade is a bit "deep" yes it is eye catching but what reason does it serve?
2 Put in your "Brand" by brand we mean your Icon or something that is your mark.
and last but not lease what is Novastar?

What do you mean by what reason does it serve? Also I don't have a brand And Novastar is the first thing that came to my head when putting a random text/

I could but then again I'm trying to work on it slowly and to answer your last question (found it) yes you should lower it just a tad
