PROTIP: I bought a Razr Kraken headset to use in recording audio for my gaming videos (since relatively abandoned) - but I wanted to share this HUGE important tip:
I had so many issues with corrupt files recording (via Fraps, for instance) -
IF YOU HAVE ISSUES RECORDING WITH THE KRAKEN HEADSET - check your Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete > Task Manager > Processes) and look for a Kraken process, then shut it down.
I searched forum after forum before finding the cause of corrupted recording files, and this did the trick immaculately. Apparently even the tech team at Kraken weren't aware of this little bug.
