Im quite proud of my over kill computer xD lots of planning/constrution time and i would say too much money went into it espeacially seeing as im australian and we get ripped off on pc parts :(

I went with a red and black theme btw

MSI XG99A gaming 7 mother board
Intel I7 5820K overclocked to around 4.0GHz
EVGA GeForce GTX 980 ti superclocked 6gb video card with a lil bit of tweaking done on it

This probably isn't a fair question for me to answer but sure why not lol. I have a few machines (because I hate throwing things away) but my gaming/editing machine is:

Intel core i7 4770k
32 GB
Asus Maximus VI Formula
2 - ASUS ROG Poseidon GTX 780
3 - various mechanical hard drives
2 - SSD's, Corsair and Intel
1 - Black Ice GTX120 radiator
1 - Black Ice GTX240 radiator
10 - fans pushing air through all this mess
Koolance CPU-380I Waterblock
Koolance water pump
Corsair Obsidian 900D

It's water cooled, I don't use any additional LED lights outside of what the hardware and fan controllers provide. I did 3d print the ASUS ROG logo on a sheet of Lexan (it's a cheaper version of plexy glass) to /sorta/ buffer the power supply/ radiator section from the rest of the PC. I added a link to the ROG logo I printed:

Wow, you and I have a stunningly similar system @TGCG!

Here are my specs:
  • Intel Core i7 5820k
  • Corsair LPX DDR4 (4x4) (I don't remember the speed)
  • NZXT Phantom 530
  • Nvidia GeForce GTX 780
  • Asus X99-A
  • Samsung Evo 840 256GB
  • WD Blue Series 1TB
  • Cooler Master Evo 212
  • Corsair AX760i
I want to go for an SLI setup some day, I can max out the settings on The Division, the game runs at about 40 frames per second but it'd be super nice to have over 60.

Very nice specs you have in here guys. I come from poor country so I don't have strong PC.
AMD Phenom II X4 840 3.2 GHZ
6 GB DDR3 RAM
AMD radeaon HD i7 6700
750 GB

Like you see not strong at all but at least I can run GTA V without lagging and that is nice for me. For some future big games my graphic card and processor are very weak but what to do. I think today it is much cheaper to buy PS4 for 330 euro in here then PC for 1000 euro to suport all those new strong games. :)

@majkxter x no worries man, honestly I have a AMD HD 6770 on my desk right now, best graphics card I've ever owned!
I know what you are saying. For example I check specs before I buy some game and for example for GTA V it says that my graphic card can not support game, but then I got game as gift and try it anyway and it is working without problems, so I guess it is not that bad. :)
