Video content advice

Hello everyone, i'm from brazil and have a doubt that has kkeping me from posting consistently for the past 2 weeks...

I have a gaming channel and for now, all trending games (or the ones i know) already have some big channels covering it, so i would like to know

1. a good way to check current trending games and trending upcoming games?

2. If it's a good idea post videos about those games anyway, or if i should try to do other games and wait for a big game to come up and try uploading as fast as i can to get my channel noticed?

And a side question... do live streams on youtube really help growing the channel?

I myself do a lot of Indie Games from @Gamejolt.
Especially i follow newly made games, its always nice to show some support to people. in the end they will appreciate it. Might even sub!

Yea I guess following the trend or what's new on gaming can actually help your channel and also doing some short games also helps
I try to find some indie games from gamejolt and people watch it because its new and its different
Also as @Fourth Wall Games said do what u enjoy the most
