Request Views vs subs

If you look at my channel my view count is 6300
My subs are 97 tho. And I do not have alot of video's. I do not talk in my video's.
Can you explain this?

I am a Gameplay Only channel with 521 subs and 34K views. Quite the same thing. There is audience for all type of content

I know when i first started I hit like 7k views and i was at around 40 subs. Looking back i realised my content was not as good as everyone else who uploads the same type of content. My Videos where popping up, but they where not good enough for people to subscribe. Now i am at 12k views and 391 subs because I improved.
