Who else remembers video replies?

I honestly kind of miss video replies because I used find other YouTubers who made similar content to the YouTubers I already watched. I think it was actually a pretty good way for small YouTubers to get discovered. Does anyone else miss it? And if not, why?

What if it was a really big YouTuber though? Then they'd never get back to you!

I remember people always made click bait videos just so they would show up next to big Youtubers. May have been ok if people didn't abuse it...

You had the ability to approve video responses or deny them entirely if I remember correctly.

Basically you had 3 options just like normal comments.
Allow all Video Responses
Allow video responses after approval.
Never allow video responses.

I honestly never used it at the time because I wasn't even making YouTube videos at the time it was a feature, but I miss it now because now that I do make YouTube videos, I feel like I could take advantage of that

I loved this feature as a kid but I also remember not daring to be in front of a camera at that time so I never used it! If it would be around now I would certainly use it!
