Alright guys, so i want to talk about the revenue. If I have a CPM of $6 and I get a total of 100,000 views in a month, how much am I earning my self. This is after the youtube taking its revenue, then freedom taking its part. In the end, how much am i getting with 100000 views and a cpm of $6?

Depends on how many of those views are monetized views and it also depends on whether you are getting higher than the base 60% revenue share from freedom which at 100,000+ a month you might be.

Its always best to wait til the end of the month and check either your YT earnings or the dashboard to your network (say Freedom in this case) as the amounts you see on your analytics on a day to day basis are always subject to change.

If you are getting 100k views/month you would probably get around 90-95 rev share with Freedom. Depending on how many views are monetized you should earn around $50 to $200 a month. Monetized views are usually the biggest factor in what you earn.

$6 CPM (advertising cost per 1000 views)
So if 70% of your views weren't monetized (which is fairly common for gaming channels)
YouTube share = 45%
Freedom share = 5%

$6 - $6*0.70 = $1.8
$1.8 - $1.8*0.45 = $0.99
0.99 - $0.99*0.05 = $0.9405 ($ per 1000 views)

You earn $0.9405*100 = $94.05
YouTube earns $0.81*100 = $81
Freedom earns $0.495*100 =$4.95
Money lost form non monetized views $4.2*100 = $420

Pretty much most of your money lost is from people using adblock or watching from an embedded source or just ads not being placed on the video.
